4/18 Nazism

How is the Nazi Regime to be interpreted within German history?

Nazi regime can be interpreted as a selfish, manipulative, destructive time within the German history. Hitler stepped up during a vulnerable time in Germany. The Germans were suffering from the effects of the great depression. They were desperate. Hitler did what many do. He sold hisself to the people and they bought the bait. It was a really low time and Hitler once in control attempted to eliminate everyone and everything that wasn't German. Many died by his orders. This put Germany in a much worse state than prior to con Hitler's control.
